What is the mock driving test?
It’s a full driving test, but with us.
Your driving instructor plays the role of the tester. He stay quiet. He gives instructions the same way an RSA tester would. He marks you as if it were the real thing. You’ll receive no helping, no coaching.
You’ll drive on the actual Dun Laoghaire driving test routes, deal with roundabouts, traffic lights, hill starts, junctions, reversing around corners, etc. … everything you’ll face on the test day.

Here's what you can expect
Our Mock Driving Test is a solid 2-hour session that has two parts.
Hour 1: Warm-Up
At Auto Driving School we use the first hour to get you comfortable.
You’ll drive with guidance, ask questions, and refresh the essentials… just like a pre-match warm-up.
- Practice manoeuvres (junctions, roundabouts, reversing, etc.)
- Brush up on the finer points of road positioning and observation
- Iron out last minute issues before the mock driving test begins
Hour 2: Full Mock Test
Now the Mock Driving Test begins.
- We switch to examiner mode (no coaching, no tips)
- You follow instructions exactly as you would on test day
- We use the actual test driving routes in Dun Laoghaire
- Your driving is marked against RSA test standards
- You'll get the full score sheet and clear feedback at the end
